In early reviews of the HTC Hero, the device was described as being "tragically flawed" due to its incredibly slow Sense UI. With competitors like the Apple iPhone 3G S and Palm Pre which emphasize speed, it's potential would be crushed with a laggy, slow user interface. We've always known that the Sense UI was a bit slow, but it's great to hear that HTC is now working on what's got them behind.
HTC's new update due in the next few weeks is primarly focused on SPEED. Whew. The update will probably be ready to go before the Hero hits Sprint stores nationwide.
Considering how much we loved the Hero it’s good to know that these boys are planning to fix some of our major issues namely how slow it was! Let's hope for more updates like these please.
