The video shown in the UK was performed with local actors by the Gwent police department. It will be used as a part of a 30-minute deterrent movie to educate teens about the dangers of texting while driving.
Any thoughts of how this video could affect teen driving habits? I could see it going both ways. Kids that text and drive will still text and drive simply because they think they can do it while others can't. Well, I thought the video was well done, really captured the fear/terror of the moment, and if the 1st crash didn't get you, the 2nd head-jerker probably will. All in all, it did have that shocking effect.
