O2 Xda Exec ROM Update

It's great to see that there is an AKU2 update for yet another Windows Mobile device. This time its the O2 Xda Exec.

New and changed in this version of software, v1.30.162 are:

• Microsoft AKU 2 (Adaptation Kit Update) featuring:
  Microsoft Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP)* allowing Direct Push Email, Wireless Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Global Address List (GAL) Lookup and Security Policies.
  * Requires organisations to be running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and SP2. Please contact your company IT Manager to confirm your infrastructure and for assistance with setting up your device for direct push email.
• Updated Comm Manager, providing new buttons for controlling Direct Push Mail and active Data connections.
• Updated Radio v1.09.00
• Updated CE image v1.30.107

Anyone noticed any "big" improvement with this update? seems a little more stable, with a nicr front end for the phone manager, but much of an overall improvement?

You can go at PDAaccessories.com and ask the owner of the website for ROM updates. They deal with it and hopefully you can get some good response from the owner.

PDAaccessories.com deals with PDA Accessories contains a larger collection of O2 models and O2 PDA Accessories

i am using xda o2 exec.
i ws using it on basic installation mode for long time and then switched on to the corporate installation type but i dint type any code and selected ok.
my device restarted automatically but it hangs with the o2 logo on the screen. i tried hard reset for 2-3 times also tried soft reset 4-5 times but still it remains the same. pls help me out with a solution?

Is there any o2 service centre in mumbai??
