The guys over at Akihabaranews just came back from the Willcom press conference and they saw the new Willcom 03. It's a smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Classic. It's the first Windows Mobile 6.1 in Japan.
The phone looks very flashy (from the pictures) I sure glad they have other colors to choose from, because some of their specs are mighty cool looking. It's got LCD WVGA (800 x 400) on a 3" touchscreen. It's also got 2 types of keyboard. Of course, one will be the QWERTY while the other is a regular numpad.
The device is coming with 256MB memory, microSD spot and W-SIM slots. It's only coming with 2MP camera though. To make that up, it has an autofocus feature. The best thing about it (besides WM 6.1), it can watch TV! Thanks to the 1Seg tuner. The phone's manufacture is Sharp.
