Portable solar energy to charge your device!

Does anyone remember the rolling blackouts?

Our need for energy is always on the rise with newer, more powerful mp3 players, cell phones, PC's, laptops... etc, but our energy shortage isn't going anywhere.

The Greenhouse effect is still a huge issue, and the holes in the ozone are definitely not shrinking.

If you are one of the many that is, or has been trying to "go green", there are several new solar power products that maybe worth looking into. You can find a decent review of the product from geek.com here.

One product from England that reviewed quite well is the Freeloader Portable Solar Energy product. Keep in mind that this wont be a DC outlet replacement, but if you are, or have ever been in need of a quick recharge for your device, you could definitely appreciate the value of this product.

The Freeloader is only shipping to UK at the moment, but there are always channels.

So go green, give back, stop polluting, increase your energy independence and all that Jazz.
