It's actually not too much of a secret. It's been known, but not really followed because the number 4 wireless carrier is doing that bad that noone really cares too much about them.
Sprint's WM6 Smartphones that are part of the IBM/Sprint agreement will be the first one to dip this. They have teamed up to implement IBM's Lotus Expeditor. How will this thing works? Here's the direct quote:

Better devices, happy users. It maybe targeting largely the business crowd (since the Lotus Notes email and Lotus Sametime are quite big on the business crowds), we'll still have some good time with it. Maybe not for productivity, but BETTER quality from Sprint will be a nice changed.
