The theme was modified slightly, and has a more of an IE feel to it (which for me is bad news), but Mozilla did add a new address bar that could prove very intuitive.
...Intuitive or horrible...
And of course, there are a couple of subtle, and not so subtle back-end modifications, like improved security from pop-ups and more room for add-ons!
What I'm wondering is, why change what works. Firefox had a certain simple, homely appeal that is often lost in the creation of the sleek or the modern.
In any case, Firefox 3 is still in its beta stage (for a while now), so they may make new improvements via updates as we move along.
