Qualcomm has some dispute going on everywhere. Showing us fake products in a trade show, omitting a driver from HTC and letting HTC takes all the heat. That's what Qualcomm has been going around doing.
People think that they have no money to fix all these issues, but nope, that's not true at all. Qualcomm just shelled out $32 million to buy acquire Xiam Technologies. The reason for all of this? Qualcomm just wanted the main product from Xiam Technologies.
Xiam's main product, My Personal Offer System, will actually be helping Qualcomm's handset and carrier partners. It can help better target content and advertisements to end users. It uses demographic, contextual and behavioral profiling to create their advertisement program. So it can target us better.
Way to go Qualcomm. Let your escape goats take the blame and somehow still find ways to make more money.
