We now see windows and apple even on our mobile devices, but what about Linux?
Interestingly enough, Wal-Mart, has run a "market test" for the physical retail of gPC's from Everex, but abandoned the project before its fruition.
The gPC loaded with Linux product "wasn't was what our customers were looking for," was the final word on the matter from Wal-Mart spokeswoman Melissa O'Brien.
What's more interesting is that the 600 stores that did receive stock of this product sold-out all its stock, but who knows what figures market analysts look at these days.
Make of it what you will, but perhaps its time we all took a good look around the room and wonder why any of it is there...
