Sure they're young and bright. Sure they talk of the nation's most reliable network, but can they provide like I know AT&T can...
Although probably no where near as melodramatic, it seems that Qwest has come to a fork in the road with their simultaneous talks to AT&T and Verizon. Thus far, Ed Mueller, the Chief of Qwest, has been anything but helpful, assuring the market, focus attention on his subscribers, that a decision will be made soon.
If AT&T and Qwest join forces, it will definitely be interesting to see what the small network provider specialist Qwest will contribute to the AT&T subcriber network.
On the other hand, Qwest and Verizon together would help concentrate the non-cable, broadband market. Maybe team-work between these two will result in the concoction of a newer, faster, yet affordable DSL network that would be able to compete with the Comcast cable giant.
