After waking up this morning and having my morning coffee, I began an online stroll through the news, and an interesting peice ran through my eyes. Wall Street Journal wrote a report that had in the title, "Deal From Hell". This definitely sparked my interest so I began my read.
Sprint Nextel, as of their fourth-quarter standiings, reported a net loss of about the same amount of the total stock value of Nextel before the merge: $29.45 billion. Yeah, that's right.
Not only that, but the company is expected to lose 1.2 million post-paid subsdribers in the first quarter, which is actually the same amount they lost in all of the year 2007.
Some will want to point the finger at Nextel, while some at Sprint before the merge. All I know is that Sprint Nextel had better get their act together or they might end up being forgotten about. Voicestream? What?
