Not-Too-Smart Phone That You Might Want To Buy

Usually, I'll talk about smartphones here. The furthest away from PocketPC I'd talk here is probably the Nokia N95. From time to time, I'll drop some news about BlackBerry, Palm and even iPhone. This time, it's different. Why is this time different, you asked? It's because it's a regular phone with some function that might "ooooh" and "ahhhh" you.

Fly Mobile has created a nice looking phone with some nice functionality. The device is Fly Mobile's MC100. It probably will be one of the best entertainment-themed handset you'll find in the market. It doesn't have a bigger screen than the iPhone, or some super sensitive touchscreen. As the matter of fact, it doesn't even have a touchscreen. Now, what's so cool about it?

The MC100 can play SNES games! Not just that, it can also play Game Boy Color, Game Boy and NES games. Right, it's playing some old-school games, but so what? Those were some of the best games back in the day and you can't even play it anymore because Nintendo is no longer supporting the NES (for a long time now in the US, but just this year for Japan).

The Fly Mobile MC100 also equipped itself with a Ymaha chipset for high-quality audio, built-in ebook and some email client function. Honestly, you don't really care about that, do you? It only has 240 x 320 pixel resolution screen. It does have some multimedia player and 3.5mm adapter, microSD card and 2MP camera.

Now, if you wonder where you put in the games? From all sources I've seen about this phone, they all said "Games (nes/smc/gb/gbc) can be freele (sic) downloaded frim (sic) Internet". That brings me to this question.... "How legal is this thing!?"

Well, if you cared, it is about $270 and ready to go as soon as you'd like it.
