LinkedIn For Mobile!

Who here knows LinkedIn? Anyway, it's a cool site for networking if you're interested.

LinkedIn is a business networking leader. It's like Facebook, but for professional who hopes to network in their careers. Also, alike with Facebook, they have decided to join the mobile arena. If you're interested you can visit the site on your device by logging onto "http://m.linkedin.com"

They ever had an interface specialized for iPhone and iPod Touch. Other mobile devices will find the WAP portal into the site. In the mobile version, this is what you can do:
  • Search LinkedIn profiles (including photos and bio) to help recall and connect with business acquaintances at events and conferences
  • Research the common contacts they have with other professionals to help make real world referrals and introductions easier
  • Invite professional acquaintances and peers you meet at events to LinkedIn with just their email address
  • Receive regular Network update capabilities about your connections while on the go
  • International versions currently launched include French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese
They are planning to make more native platforms. Starting with BlackBerry OS. For the time being, you can check the site if you're their users. It could be a great resource to jump start your career, but definitely, be careful to not let your boss find you on there looking for a new job.
