The rollout will start with some soft-launch in some major cities in the nation. With more than 50 WiMAX-related products on display at the Mobile World Congress, the VP for technology development (Ali Tabassi) of Sprint also assured that April will be the beginning of this soft-launch process. It'll start with Chicago, Baltimore and the DC areas.
Sprint is setting a goal of 100 million subscribers by the end of the year. Goals that seems to be a little bit harder, so Sprint will at least cooperate with Clearwire, which was the former Xohm partner with Sprint.
I don't really know/care too much. I just want to be able to use it, without paying my arms and legs for it. Hopefully some of those 50 devices will allow me to get on those lighting speed too!
