MSN Direct has been going around and putting itself on a bunch of devices over the past year or two, it seems like fitting that one day, it'll be arriving on its own Windows Mobile operating system. Well, that day has arrived. Thanks to the announcement over at the Mobile World Congress!
Microsoft recently has announced that it launched the Windows Mobile verion of the auto-updating information system at the MWC. The application will use the phone's data connection instead of the SPOT network to grab data.
This application will be presented directly on the homescreen and it is auto-updated. If you follow here, you might be able to give it a try. I tried going through with it, but it will not install on my Touch.
When you give it a try and if it works, let me know! Also, there's no word if it's free, or you need to pay.
Yeah sadly its only for the Windows Mobile Standard right now. But then again, it's a technology preview and not the final version so there's still hope.
