Lenovo is retiring from the mobile phone and Windows Mobile business.
The Chinese PC maker has finally announced that they are selling their loss-making handset and mobile phone business. They will be receiving $100 million to a private equity firm controlled by its parent Legend Holdings.
Lenovo Mobile is not exactly the well known company for its Windows Mobile PDA/Smartphones since they are not really focusing else where but the mainland China. The company made - 134 million Yuan in the 2007.
In case you were wondering. Lenovo is the one who bought IBM's ThinkPad business back in the 2004.
