As number of smartphone users grow more and more, people are probably thinking that these things are gift-worthy. It's like opening the door for them to join us in the next level. Except... some people just are not ready... at all.
Apparently, over this past holiday season, the most items returned to the sellers are smartphones. Apparently, iPhones and RIM's BlackBerrys were not included. I don't really know why they didn't include iPhones and BlackBerrys receivers.
The most reason used for return the product? "inability to understand the product setup process". That's just sad... very sad.
I guess a lot of people are just not ready to be moving on afterall.
some people mentioned that people view smartphones as something for fun and toys. Until they get one, they don't realize that it actually was mainly for work.
Well it can be for fun and toys but it can be productive as well. It's all a matter of perspective. Then again, many of the older generations don't respond well to newer gadgets to begin with.
