The execs just came up with a new way to earn some pocket change for themselves. That also means taking some more money out of our pockets! As if they're not rich enough, Verizon just found a new way to do it again.
Verizon has recently told its subscribers that they're about to bump up the rates of text messaging. It is now going from 15 cents to 20 cents for domestic texts (matching up with Sprint). Incoming text from international will go up from 15 to 20 cents too, while outgoing rate remains unchanged at 25 cents.
That is quite a lot of money on top of everything else they already charge... greedy
