No longer, will I have to hold my phone like that late at night. Thanks to the scientist in Britain, who have come up with a solution for our oily faces touching the phones late at night.
The technology is making electronic gadgets completely water proof, using a type of coating that repels liquids. So far, it has only been using for military gears, which is to repel toxic vapors and liquids in biological and chemical attacks.
Ion-Mask, the creator, is in discussion with three cellphone manufacturers with a view to using the coaters on their products.
The way it works is that it's a protective layer that bonds to the device using a plasma, or electrically charged gas. Its chemical properties allow oil and water to be repelled easily.
From now on, when we talk with our beau late at night, after hanging up, we won't have to be "oh gross" and try to wipe that oily smudges from your face off our lovely devices.
