Sprint to soft launch WiMax

Sprint Nextel will soft launch its XOHM WiMax network in the next few days says Bin Shen, VP of Product Managements and Partnership Development. Chicago, Washington DC, and Baltimore will be the sites of the WiMax launch. XOHM will be officially launched in the 2nd quarter of 2008. Initially its believed that data cards, and some Laptops with WiMax chips embedded in them will be available at launch, as no discussion was made as to what devices would offer WiMax.
