Talkster is in the process of stealing some thunders from other free phone services. They are actually using ten second ads beginning of each call to fund their services.
Users can call a single person or set up conference calls for nothing. Calls are set up through a web interface, accessible by mobile or work stations by simply just put in your number and the other person's number. You don't even have to sign up! Talkster will then send a number of the person you want to call on SMS (text) with each other's local number. Call that number (you can continue using that number afterward too)
Talkster is already an application on Facebook and in service for 25 countries. It's still growing, I'm sure it'll get better, but this is pretty dang nice.
