Well, I have been sitting and debating for a while whether to write this article or not. Not because I don't like Microsoft (obviously, we're all on this forums) but I'm questioning the legitimate quality of the story... but then again, this is a "rumor" so there's not of a concrete evidence to anything, right?
According to WMExperts, there will be a new interface for Windows Mobile 6.1, the new update that many sites have been raving about. The new interface is actually looking very cool (according to their pictures and their sources) It'll be similar to what Microsoft and Vodaphone developed for the Treo 500v: a carousel. You can read more about the Windows Mobile 6.1 that the guys from WMExperts report here.
What I have really heard is from a friend of mine who works with Microsoft and his specialty was Pocket PCs and Smart Phones... so that's why I'm questioning the other sources about the 6.1. He told me that the 6.1 that is coming out is actually for the Mobile Office. It's going to be something for us in order to open .docx and all those 2007 files.
So... I guess read the story but don't forget to take things with the grain of salts.
