The California Supreme Court has approved to proceed with a lawsuit challenging the terms of carrier contracts, specifically locked handsets and ETF’s, T-Mobile being the first to play defendant. Previously, carriers have tried to dis miss the case on the grounds that its contract requires customers to dispute complaints through arbitration. But the plaintiffs legal time has argued that the claims being made against T-Mobile can not be satisfied through arbitration. Time will tell how this story unfolds.
