Microsoft announced the final update to the fall release of its Live Search service. This also include the service for mobile.
The new features will make it easier to use and better search engine. It'll be easier to find what you need and it'll be focusing a lot more on mapping, imagery and driving directions as well as new services to make mobile search experience easier and more powerful.
Microsoft also announced a service to compete with Goog 411 and that is their Call 411 (1-800-CALL-411) to get any information from local businesses and other local information like weather updates, movie times and airline information. You can also get the traffic update on Live Search 411 through an internet access.
One of the best features I have found about Google mobile, which is way better than Mapquest or if you do not have GPS navigation device in my opinion is their textable search engine which provides movie times, business contact and address information as well as step by step directions from one location tothe other. This little feature has saved me since I do not have a GPS device and if I'm on the road, I can take out my phone, send a text to google and get information quick and easy.
