Mike Schroepfer of Moazilla stated that the company plans to enter the mobile browsing market, with its own mobile Firefox Browser. Why only now? According to him, the delay was due to limited handset technology. They were waiting until handset specs offered more than 64MB of ram and were equipped with faster processors. Mozilla has hired on new developers to head its mobile division and intends to ship a mobile version of Firefox within 2008. Can’t wait till it comes out, hopefully it will offer the same experience as it does on desktops. Time will tell.
