The FCC has set a new date for the auction of the 700 MHz spectrum. The date is going to be on January 24, 2008, which was moved from January 16th.
There's also a final set of rules published by the FCC sent tto bidders. It includes everything from open access provision to the C block spectrum and has decided to give some bidding discounts to some smaller companies.
Any company that is interested need to register sometimes between November 19, 2007 to December 3, 2007. The reserve price is at $4.63 billion and there are 1,099 licenses up for auction.
