Verizon announced their new four handsets for this fall. There will be 3 feature phones and a Smartphone. They are LGVX10000 Voyager, LG VX8000, Samsung U470 Juke and BlackBerry Pearl 2.
Quick sum of each phone.
LG VX10000 Voyager - a messaging device that was derived from enV. Touchscreen and new user-interface. Like enV, it opens sideways for its QWERTY keyboard. Full HTML browser. MicroSD and of course, VCAST compatible.
LG VX8800 Venus - dual screen slider. Touchscreen on the bottom screen instead of the navigation buttons. 2MP camera.
Samsung U470 Juke - narrow. provides basic music and calling features. It has rotating dial for navigation and make selections. Small but has 2GB in itself! Comes in 3 color.
BlackBerry Pearl 2 - CDMA version of Pearl, which was released last year. Has EV-DO data, 2MP camera, 3.5mm jack, stereo Bluetooth and intergrated GPS. The MicroSD slot has been moved under the battery. Mail and browser has been improved in appearance.
I think they all really look cool. Sadly, I think I like the Voyager more than the Pearl itself!
