The HTC Kaiser has been noticed around the mobile neck of the woods for quite some time. However, our first glance at AT&T's version named "Tilt" is no here.
The above picture is the new AT&T Tilt. As you observe, the dial pad on the left of the screen is pretty shiny, glossed over for a silver chrome look. Another interesting item is that if you squint hard at the picture, you'll notice a menu item that states, "Get TeleNav," which means that this little puppy is fully functional for GPS. Looks like you can dump your old one, and just use the phone. A data plan would be needed to run the application, but isn't that what you were planning on doing anyway?
The release date for the AT&T 8925 was supposed to be this past September 25th, but due to some network certification issues, the date will be pushed back a few.
Negri Electronics, an internet-based mobile reseller, is said to have the "Kaiser" in stock by October 23rd. But if a contract deal is more like you, I do warn you, these things can really last for quite some time. When we get more details on release dates, you'll be able to find it here. Keep checking back.
