Nokia announced on Wednesday that they will be having WiMax on their new N-series tablets next year. WiMax is a netoworking technology that allows a wider range of access, and faster download speeds than 3G. It also has a very wide range for the device's WiFi.
To add to this picture, Skype, a software that allows subscribers to use their computer and internet connection to talk to people, N-series internet tablet users will have the capability to make phone calls through their tablet even when they are away from a WiFi hot spot. Exciting news? I think so.
