The Samsung phone is definitely an improvement from its predecessor, SGH - i620. They still share some of the exterior specs, such as 2.4" QVGA, QWERTY keyboard.
The i640 has added some features that the i620 badly needed, such as WiFi, GPS and sport features!
Nonetheless, this upgrades will make the subscribers happy and more satisfied than the time they had the i620. Not that it was a bad phone, but the gadgets just weren't kicking enough.
Lastly, there's no price on it yet, but should be out in Q4 of this year. Of course, it's only offered in Europe.... for now.
