By the end of this year, 84% of the US population will have mobile phones. That number will increase to 100% (in the form of multiple subscriptions for an individual) by the end of 2013. What is to fuel the growth of mobile phone usage? Part of it is data usage. Currently data charges makes up 17% of service revenue for carriers, but that is expected to jump to an estimated 25% by next year.
