Many people have been suspecting that Sprint will come out with a $59.99 unlimited calling plan, because they're in need of subscribers and they need those people quick. Unfortunately, that won't be happening.
What's going to happen instead is that they're offering a $99 plan. This plan is going to give you more than what T-Mobile is offering. They are including unlimited voice, data, text messages, Sprint TV, Sprint Music, GPS, Direct Connect and Group Connect.
It seems like this is probably going to be the best plan. For families, you'd have to pay the same amount, but it gives you an increment of $5 off every line you are adding. So in example, you'll be paying $99.99 for your first line, second would cost $94.99.
Dan Hesse is trying to tell the market that they are more than just voice networks. "Our network is about more than voice and more than just being the largest wireless data network. It is about allowing customers to connect with people, information and entertainment. It is about simplicity, usability and real value. The $99.99 Simply Everything plan eliminates overage surprises and provides a worry-free environment".
I hope you're right, Mr. Hesse. I hope it was cheaper too.
