IDATE is forecasting that by the year 2010 there will be about 1.3 billion 3G handsets being used! The data used to conclude this is relatively new, from 2005-2006. CDMA2000 is really becoming the new world standard for telecommunications, with about 251 operators spread across 105 countries. 2010 is just around the corner so expect to see 3G Pocket PC’s!
