About a month ago, news broke out about the International Trade Commission desiring to ban Qualcomm 3G chips (found mostly on Sprint and Verizon phones) from being imported to the US due to patents held by Broadcom being violated. What eventually unfolded was a passing on a ban of all 3G chips being imported to the US. Now the CTIA is urging the president of the United States to veto the ban. Does this 3G chip ban apply to all 3G chips? Hopefully not!
