WiTricity: MIT shows method for transferring electrical power wirelessly

MIT has experimentally shown that it is possible to transfer electrical power wirelessly! The new method dubbed “WiTricity” was able to power a 60watt bulb with no strings attached. While still in experimental stages, this capability has the ability to change the way we live our lives! Imagine driving a car that’s wirelessly powered by electricity or never running out of batteries on your cell phone. More tests need to be done to ensure that it is truly safe for us to be around. Learn more about this exciting news from Physorg.
