Sony Film Screens

For a little while now it seems that the once monsterous Sony Corp, has been on the backburner for new upcoming products and technology. But that is what you would like to think now wouldn't you? In reality, Sony has been working on a highly advanced, groundbreaking technology that just may create a completely new way of viewing images on our devices.

This amazing new peice of equipment is a film that can handle still and moving images, ie video. The two part test product is equipped with Sony's organic thin film transistor, which is required to make flexible displays, and organic electroluminescent display. They have created an image holding device that you can bend with your fingers, and if is dropped will not break.

Sony still is planning on what exactly to do with the film screen. Whether it create a thinner phone, mp3 player, or even become a fashion statement, we know that Sony has stepped into something that will reinvent the way images are seen in the upcoming future.
