Google announces today the 2.0 release of their famous mobile program Google Maps. The new 2.0 version features “My Location” technology, which uses cell towers and triangulation rather than GPS technology to locate the user, with an accuracy average of about 1000m. BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Sony Ericsson, Palms and so forth should all be able to use the new feature. To check out the beta, point your mobile browser to Google Maps. There is also an interesting YouTube video. Check it out here.
