Windows Live Search for Mobile was released a couple days ago and Gizmodo conducted a comparison between Windows Live Search for Mobile and Google Maps Mobile. Their general consensus is that WLS is better with its smoother and faster navigation while Google Maps Mobile is a bit sluggish caused by Java. I thought Google Maps was the best! True that?

Thanks for the add!!! I have had sluggish issues with Google maps and I was looking for a replacement. I have also had issues with the directions that it generated; the directions would for the most part leave me somewhere in the vicinity that I was trying to go! Hopefully Windows Live Search for Mobile will be better for me.
I loaded up Windows Live Search on my Cingular 8125, turned on my Bluetooth GPS, and wow, this is pretty awesome. Worked well, though I was just driving home from work, so I already knew where I was going, nonetheless, being able to follow the map images automatically is pretty cool. I'd imagine it could come in pretty handy when traveling in unfamiliar areas. Though I haven't tried the Google counterpart, the Windows Live Search app, fits just fine for me.
I am fairly new to this community and have recently dloaded WLS recently myself and are impressed. Although, I do not have a GPS but are in the market; could you please explain to me the benefit of running WLS as an app only on my device vs. running it with GPS? and would I be able to teather it to a Garmin, Tom Tom, etc. via USB?
