Gigabyte has traditionally been associated with PC related parts, but the Taiwan-based company is testing the waters of the Pocket PC market. Gigabyte has already released some models running on Windows Mobile 5.0, like the Gigabyte g-Smart i120 and g-Smart i128. But as added confirmation to speculations that 'Crossbow' will be in devices by early 2007, Gigabyte is preparing to release g-Smart i200, which is slated to run on Crossbow. Other features include:
Onboard DVB-H and DVH-T receivers
2.69" VGA touchscreen display
USB 2.0 port (for TV-out connectivity)
Onboard 512MB memory
Limited TV recording capabilities
Windows Mobile OS 'Crossbow'
The g-Smart i200 will most likely be hanging out in the Asian regions, but hey, keep your chin up soldier.
