Telecom New Zealand Launches Next-Generation Mobile Portal with Volantis

Seattle, WASHINGTON, October 17, 2006 - Volantis, the world’s leading supplier of Intelligent Content Adaptation™ solutions for the Mobile Information Age, today announced the launch of the enhanced Xtra Mobile Services platform for Telecom New Zealand, New Zealand’s leading online and communications provider.

Telecom is launching a broad selection of unique content to complement the region’s most compelling data services offering. With Volantis, Telecom expects to launch new content and portal services more rapidly into the market while ensuring a high quality user experience across a wide range of devices. In all, Volantis has launched over 40 services at carriers around the globe with its industry-leading Volantis Mobile Content Framework, a robust mobile content delivery platform.
