As we mentioned yesterday i-mate is no longer in relationship with HTC, but i-mate is doing what they can to stay up. They leaked some pictures of two new devices that are sure to turn some heads. The only downside to these devices are their lack of 3G wireless technology which HTC is leading in.
The UBiQUiO 601, a bit of a low rent HTC Universal copy, which however goes on to fix many of the deficiencies of the original device. It feature a full D-pad and navigation keys on the flip, a small caller-ID screen and is thinner and lighter. Specs: - TI OMAP 750

I-Mate UBiQUiO 501 JAQ3. This slim PocketPC Phone with always exposed keyboard appears to be a very attractive device, but similarly lacks 3G connectivity. The form factor may however make up for this, as its still the only slim QWERTY phone with full PocketPC OS. Specs: - TI OMAP 850
