Extended batteries for our devices are emerging, and although a relief and a must-have at times, I'm afraid that the standard for battery life may be at a compromise. Regardless, Samsung is offering a battery life solution for the Q1 UMPC. How? Well, with their extended battery pack of course... and slated at $164 buckaroos. As with all or most extended battery packs, you're looking at added bulk. An OrigamiPortal reader is claiming that it'll give you about 3 hrs of juice bringing the grand total up to 5.5 hrs of Q1 fun.
