How to use as WebCam:
You must install CoolCameraSetup.exe on Desktop PC (versions on PDA and Desktop PC should be identical).
Connect PDA (or Smartphone) to Desktop PC via ActiveSync (through cable, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc).
On Desktop PC start application you need (Skype, for example), choose "CoolCamera" capture device and start video chat.
Start CoolCamera on PDA.
Set 'Webcam' mode on PDA (use left-right keys) and set 320x240 resolution.
Press Start button on PDA.
If you see "Server does not respond" (on PDA) wait for 5 seconds and try again (press Start button).
You can use Webcam mode through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE without ActiveSync. In this case you must enter Server (Desktop PC) IP-address in Config.txt:
1) in CoolCamera go to Settings menu and choose "Edit Config.txt" menu item
2) in Config.txt enter IP-address (WebcamIP field), then close Config.txt
3) in Coolcamera go to Webcam menu (in Webcam mode) , and change "Server" menu item.
It is possible to use various resolutions (176x144, 640x480, etc).
1) Run CoolCameraXP.exe on Desktop PC, go to "Tool"->"Settings" dialog, and set resolution you need.
2) Set the same resolution in CoolCamera on PDA.
If you want to use messenger (Skype, MSN, Yahoo), you must set 320x240 resolution!
You must close CoolCameraXP, if you use other camera program!
Webcamera time limit in unregistered version is 25 seconds.
To reach higher fps in webcamera, use MJPG420 fromat and Screen=null.
All media content saved to 'Storage Card/My Documents/My Video (Photo)' or '/My Documents/My Video (Photo)'.
CoolCamera uses Motion JPEG AVI format.
You can play recorded .avi files using internal Album application on PDA or using Windows Media Player on Desktop PC (only for CoolCamera Version 1.04 and higher).
Some SD/MMC cards are very slow. In this case record video to Main Memory or change your SD/MMC card.
