O2 Xda Atom gets Exec status!

The O2 Xda Atom is definitely a slick device and with a recent announcement made by Microsoft, it only gets better! The new Xda Atom Exec is about ready to launch in Asia and inherits some pretty sweet specs.

The Xda Atom Exec will get Windows Mobile 5.0, Microsoft MSFP, an upgraded 520MHz Intel processor (which will come in handy running WM5), and 192MB of ROM. As far as looks, it's being reported to have a matte finished casing versus the fingerprint and smudge prone gloss. The original Atom dimensions will be maintained as well.

I'm glad that the Atom is finally in matte, that glossiness bugged the heck out of me. I hope this new Atom has less bugs as well! We'll see what this 2nd generation "non-HTC" device can do!
