The P525 comes with both Wi-Fi and GPRS support built in, providing wireless and cellular connectivity for Internet access. The device supports instant messaging and Skype, including SkypeIn and SkypeOut functionality.
The 2 megapixel digital camera can also act as a business card recognition device. Users can simply take a picture of a business card, and the P525 will automatically convert information on the card into Outlook's contact list.
Running on a 416MHz Intel XScale, the P525 comes with 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, with a expansion slot (miniSD card). It supports quad band GSM nertwork (850/900/1800/1900) and GPRS Class B, multi-slot Class 10. The 2.8" display (240 x 320 pixels) is touchscreen.
