The new 2007WFP 20" LCD from Dell has just been made available for the very reasonable price of $529. My $.02 on Dell monitors is this, I've always liked Dell monitors -- having owned a whole slew of LCDs, time and time again, Dell gives me the most "expected" (read: good, read: quality is not exaggerated) performance.
I suppose that's going to be a natural by product when you're the largest manufacturer of PCs in the world, but hey, who says they don't deserve a round of applause for having high standards.
The bottom line when I select a LCD sight-unseen is this: go with some one you can trust, excellent customer support, easy on the eyes, thoughtful ergonomics, the works. You're going to be staring at it alot, so might as well choose something (someone) you can count on. Goodness, I sound like an infomercial, but I am passionate about good monitors.
Anyways, enough of that: here are some specific figures that'll be of service to you as you decide whether (or not) to pick up this new release.
