Super sleek Mago Smartphone shows up on the scene [officially sometime mid-2006?] with a look that makes you go “oooO” and “ahhh”. Now, from looking at how light reflects off the surface, you might be concerned with scratching and such, but wait right there…the Mago Smartphone is made with a special coating that is scratch resistant (something the iPod nano could have used). On top of the nice shiny-ness, the device is made out of hi-tech aerospace technologies and mechanical parts, such as grade 5 Titanium, stainless steel, and Magnesium. Aside from exterior features, this is what’s on the inside: Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition, Quad-band GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth 1.2, 802.11b, embedded antennas, Intel xScale PXA27X CPU w/ 624MHz, 128MB SDRAM, 128MB nand Flash. No camera, but you’ve got 2.5mm sterio audio jack, USB 2.0, SD/MMC/Mini-SD slot, two loud speakers, LED backlight for keypad, and a 2.8" transreflective TFT touch screen… all of this packed into 134 x 55 x 15mm of fun!
Will it only stay in the UK? Dunno…but it sure doesn’t seem cheap!
