the short of this iPod fighter: TECLAST has come out with a music player, the C150, which has two "cores". One core is DAC/Amplifier and the other, the decoding chip. The claim is that when separated, the quality of playback is higher, up to a 100 db. Sounds it would workout, but I'm still a little dubious.
Despite there being no news of whether TECLAST plans on bringing this dual chip audo player state side, you can expect that if this dual "core" process works -- it won't be the last you'll hear of it.
