I saw this article in the NY Post and I've done some searching and it has come up on couple of different news agencies but it appears.... Microsoft is in talks for purchasing AOL. Time Warner lawyers have begun studying potential antitrust issues stemming from a possible Microsoft acquisition of AOL, and so far they have found few roadblocks to a deal, the newspaper said, citing unidentified sources familiar with the matter.
Time Warner spokesman Ed Adler was not immediately available for comment on Friday. He was quoted by the newspaper as saying "such speculation is silly and pointless."
Any MSN subscribers out there? Better yet, any AOL subscribers care to comment on what you think this will do for/to your service?

I don't think it'll happen...I read just last week that AOL's subscriber base is diminishing, and profits are in jeopardy. Does MS really want to hop on that ship right now?
