AvantGo Terminating June 30, 2009

Thanks for the warm welcome. My search for a new sync application like AvantGo which is terminating on June 30th lead me to this site.
My Aximx50v has in past been able to sync for news, current movie times & reviews, plus many other features that were available until now.
AvantGo suggested Snac (which does'nt do PPC and Palm) or going to each of the sites previously synced (pain) through AvantGo.

Does anyone know of an application simular to AvantGo that will allow me to access news, and movies info

I will be testing this application over the next few days and will
add my review to this post. By the way, I am a retired Aerospace
and Defense Test Engineer so needless to say, I love to test stuff.

Welcome to the forums, and do let us know about that review~! Wow aerospace defense?? Thats pretty nuts, did you hear about NASA sending off LRO to remap the surface of the moon? I guess were going back there in a couple years

Now in day 9 of the 15-dY trial of NewsCopier Pro I have still received no reply to my question concerning the lack of content (i.e. only one short paragraph, one or two sentences, per news item). So at the end of this reply I will delete this utility and search elsewhere...Syncalot ??

The application is buggy on my device - Windows Mobile 2003 on Axim x50v. When online it searches or downloads continually with no resulting substantial content. Compared to AvantGo, which is a Rolls Royce, this
thing is an old skateboard with one wheel!

ChrisS, check out this site The Enterprise Mission for some current NASA info and shenanigans.

Anyone finding a substitute for AvantGo, please let me know.....
